I love the whole place. The feeling of real spain. The beautiful beaches. Wide streets with lovely park areas where you can sit and get a cool breeze. The food !! The lovely harbour. Spanish people who are so tolerant of the non spanish speaking brits. Can't wait to return again in July.

A lovely town with an authentic spanish feel.
All signs and information in spanish. Food regional and very good. Wonderful beaches. Don't tell too many English people about this gem - we don't want to spoil it !!!

Pilar de la Horadada is a town and district in the Province of Alicante, in the southeast of Spain. Located 66km south of Alicante, the city is the southernmost of the Valencian Community, only 1km north of the regional border (with the Province of Murcia) The town and its neighbouring villages (Pinar de Campoverde and Torre de la Horadada) are home to thousands of British, German and Northern European expatriates. San Javier Airport (Murcia) is within close proximity.
