Information about La Alfoquia, Almeria
I´ve lived in La Alfoquia since moving to Spain 3 years and 6 months ago.
Our daughter who is 14 years old goes to the school and I have to say that the teachers there are very good.
Children that go to the school and cannot speak spanish are given lessons and encouraged to have spanish friends as this is the best way to learn.
The school also has after school activites, ranging from extra spanish lessons, football practise and other sports and crafts.
The classes are small my daughter class has only 14 pupils, which allows the teacher to send time with individuals if the is a problem understanding a subject.
If there is a problem then teachers are always available to speak to but I would have a translator with you or hope that there is an English children able to translate for you at the school. It´s a good school.
