Cuevas del Almanzora is a fantastically friendly traditional Spanish town. It is close enough to the sea and golf courses without it being a tourist trap and there are lovely views of the surrounding mountains. The Cuevas processions are not to be missed, especially 'Semana Santa' (Easter Week). I would recommend Cuevas del Almanzora to those who are looking for a town with a real community feeling. Everything you could ever need is on your doorstep there.
