Information about Badajoz (City), Badajoz

I visited Badajoz 3 years ago.I read the book by Michener " Iberia".There is a whole chapter about this out of the track city in Spain and I loved it. Maybe it does not have the character of Caceres but it is charming to walk the riverbanks in Guadiana river.
