Information about Xerta, Tarragona

Very hot in July and August - 35 degrees at night not uncommon. Village very small. Has 4 bars, one restaurant that is open strange times, 2 small supermarket type shops....very small, 2 bakers. It's a small village type place right on the river...a real get away from it all place. Village pool very nice but only open during Spanish School holidays in teh summer. Lots of festivals and Bulls running through streets!!!

Xerta is a municipality within the comarca of Baix Ebre, situated for 12km of Tortosa in province of Tarragona, Catalonia. The C-12 road runs through the town, and connects it with the Tortosa, Mora d'Ebre and A-7 autopista.
