Pictures of Costa Teguise (Lanzarote)

Costa Teguise is a coastal town in the Municipality of Teguise on the island of Lanzarote (in the Canary Islands of Spain). It was built intentionally to accommodate tourism, and prior to building commencing the streets were planned, constructed, and serviced in advance. The beach is man-made.

To date the planners goals have been over enthusiastic, as the streets and street lighting created in the late 1980s still have massive areas where no hotels or housing have yet been built.

Costa Teguise is Lanzarote's family resort, with a fabulous selection of bars, shops and restaurants, as well as the island's only golf course and water park.

Las Cucharas beach is world class with all facilites and a superb sheltered bay area. Scuba diving and windsurfing are the most popular sports. There are both international and local schools in the resort, and Arrecife is only 10 minutes drive away.
