this south facing two bedroom one bathroom ground floor apartment is equipped with hot and cold air-conditioning and the full uk tv package and is set in the most sought after complex of calas de campoamor in cabo roig, with a built in barbacue area, three full size tennis courts, a childrens play area and a fantastic communal pool, which overlooks the cabo roig harbour and the mediterranean sea.
this is an excellent venue for a self catering family holiday. (sleeps 4)
the large living room/dining area is well furnished and consists of a flat screen tv, 2 very comfortable leather settee´s, a large pine wall unit and a pine extendable dining table with 4 chairs. there is also a cd/radio player supplied. at the far end of the living room are 2 sliding patio doors that lead out onto the spacious patio area, which overlooks a well maintained garden.
the apartment comprises of two bedrooms, a double and a twin. both bedrooms have ceiling fans, although the apartment is fitted with air-conditioning. there are fitted wardrobes in both rooms, allowing plenty of storage space.
the double bedroom is equipped with a portable tv with built in dvd player. both bedrooms are furnished to a high standard. towels, along with winter and summer bedding are supplied within this apartment.
the fully tiled bathroom consists of, a double flush toilet, bidet, bath with overhead shower and a built in vanity unit with an oval hand wash basin set into a marble surround, above is a large mirror with built in spot lights.
this apartment has a fantastic fully fitted kitchen with black and white marble work tops. it is equipped with all white goods ie, microwave, cooker and a large fridge/freezer, along with all the necessary cooking utensils. although the apartment only sleeps 4, there is enough crockery and cutlery to accommodate 6 people for entertaining evenings. there is also a utility room where the washing machine is housed and cleaning equipment is stored, along with a rear courtyard which serves as a good clothes drying area.
the pool is approximately a 2 minute walk away and consists of a built in jacuzzi. there is a seperated shallow pool for the younger bather. to the side of the pool, there is a large grassed picnic area with thatched umbrella´s for a little welcome shade from the hot summer sun.
this apartment is in an excellent location. it is approximately a 2 minute walk to the famous cabo roig strip, where there are a multitude of bars and restaurants and all manner of entertainment can be found here, from karaoke to tribute bands and from jazz nights to salsa dancing, there are bars to accommodate younger family members with ball pools and cargo nets and competition evenings. the strip offers something for everyone. there are two main beaches, cabo roig beach which is overlooked by the harbour and harbour restaurant. there are many activities provided on the beach, with volley ball nets, climbing frames, pedalo and jet ski hire. campoamor beach is approximately a 10 minute walk and also has it´s own harbour and harbour restaurant. this beach is much larger with sand dunes and lush palm trees. there is also a beach bar through the summer months and sunbed hire is also available and wc´s are provided.
calas de campoamor complex is arguably the best private complex in cabo roig, with all the facilities provided which also include a pool lifeguard and on site security through the summer months. this is a truly excellent self catering family venue, a real ruby in the crown of the south costa blanca.
