It overlooks open countryside to the front, with a view of Mojacar Pueblo, an old Moorish hill-top town, in the distance. All of these are within easy walking distance of the apartment. A total of six golf courses are available within an easy fifteen minute drive. Buses and taxis are readily available to and from Mojacar Pueblo, famous for its Moors and Christians festival in June, and Mojacar Playa, a popular coastal resort for English tourists with good beaches and a thriving nightlife. The ski slopes of Sierra Nevada and the Alhambra Palace are within a two-hour drive, Mini Hollywood theme park provides an exciting day out for all the family within a one-hour drive and safe activities are available more locally in a water park at Puerta Rey.
