It also has a beautiful Catholic Church with Mudejar architecture dating back to the 16th century, which has recently been named as a Spanish Historic Heritage site. This peaceful area is famous for its friendly people, summer weather and quiet surroundings close to nature making it ideal for outdoor activities such as hiking, bird watching etc. Although you are inland and away from the sea, there is an open air municipal swimming pool which is open from July until September with a small café offering snacks, drinks and ice cream.
