Following the summer months the beaches here become very quiet and are ideal for long idyllic walks in the sunshine, water sports such as wind & kite surfing, skiing, scuba diving, horse riding and walking our faithful doggie friends. Travelling south (4 min drive) is the second largest town of Oliva with many amenities, historic churches and castle overlooking the town. It is possible to walk along the seashore to here from Playa Daimus. The peaceful and unspoilt virgin sand dune beach of Oliva is a mile from the town and the dunes are now protected to preserve the fauna and wildlife. On the beachfront are many restaurants plus there is a Club Nautico and Marina with restaurant serving the fresh catch of the day and having an open-air swimming pool open to the general public.
