The peaceful and unspoilt virgin sand dune beach of Oliva is a mile from the town and the dunes are now protected to preserve the fauna and wildlife. On the beachfront are many restaurants plus there is a Club Nautico and Marina with restaurant serving the fresh catch of the day and having an open-air swimming pool open to the general public.
The Oliva Nova Golf Complex with 18-hole course designed by Seve Ballesteros is a ten-minute drive south of Daimus and boasts a beautiful virgin sand dune beach setting. The clubhouse overlooks the course and is open to the general public and there is a popular restaurant with swimming pool and health spa also located here.
Opposite the Golf Complex is El Marjal (fresh water marsh land), which is a complete contrast; this is now a protected zone that houses an abundance of wildlife and fauna.
