Community

The area is popular with people from northern parts of Spain, who either tend to visit the area on holiday or permanently relocate here. There is also a large international population including English, Swedish, Irish, German and Russian residents.

Los Altos offers very good health facilities, with several medical centres in the area and the University Hospital of Torrevieja just 5 minutes away. There are also several pharmacies, veterinarians centres and an optician.

Schools

There are plenty of Spanish state schools to choose from; if you are looking for the British curriculum, El Limonar International school is just over 10 minutes away.

Cost of Living

Living costs are very reasonable in Los Altos, with good value property and low cost transport, groceries and entertainment.
