Villa i Algoz, Faro (distrikt)

Algoz is a growing typical Portuguese village, a few kilometres from Silves and en-route to the Monchique Mountains. It has a good selection of traditional and affordable restaurants, most of which are owned and run by local families. In the village you will also find all the facilities such as small shops, schools, a daily market, a bank and several supermarkets. Once a month there is the largest market in the center of the Algarve, where you can find a huge selection of agricultural products from the region. The village is served by public transports, bus and train.
